2008 UFO Challenge

We all have ‘em.... those unfinished projects (UFO's). Let's
challenge ourselves to get some done and make more room In our sewing
room for more projects. Some of us just need a push. Here's how it
works:
1. Select 6 UFO's ( a project already started, fabric is already cut
and waiting, or any other 'in progress' state exists.
OR
2. Select 6 new projects you want to start, have bought fabric for,
or have just been thinking about starting.
OR
3. All 12 projects can be UFO's.

4. List the
projects and each month those completed ones will be crossed off the
list. Turn the list (be sure to keep a copy) in at the February meeting.
Also bring a yard of fabric. Each meeting we will check off the finished
projects. You must bring the project or a photo of project. For each
finished project your name goes into a drawing for the fabric stash and
other prizes. In November, we will draw for a bevy of wonderful prizes
and even some surprises. The more times your name is in the pot, the
better your odds!!!
5. Be sure to include that really old project stuffed In the brown
grocery bag crammed In the back of a drawer or closet. Include the date
and set a goal to finish it. It also will be eligible for a prize!!!!
