Quilt Show Guidelines

Quilt Show Categories

1) All entries must meet the definition of a quilt - at least three layers of fabric held together with stitches.  The middle layer may be batting or any other type of fabric.  See Category #11 for exceptions.

 2) All entries (other than antique-see below) must be capable of being pinned to a sheet or hung with plastic hangers for display.  Method of hanging for display will be at the discretion of the committee.  

3) Youth entries must have  been substantially pieced or appliqued by the youth entrant.  

4) Antique quilts will be hung unless the owner indicates on the entry form that draping is preferred.  

5) Entries can be dropped off at the quilt show location on Friday, from 4:30-6:00PM.  They can be picked up after the show on Sunday at 5:30PM.  Contact the committee if other arrangements need to be made.  

6) The entry form must be filled out completely.  Please note the instructions regarding the various copies.  Entry forms must be postmarked by April 1^st.
